The Blavin Scholarship was founded in 2005 to provide scholarships to students who have lived, or currently are in foster care.

How do I Become a Blavin Scholar? (Eligibility)

Eligible students must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. They have been accepted by, are in the process of applying to or are attending a post-secondary school.
  2. They have lived, or currently live in foster care.
  3. Earned a minimum cumulative 2.5 grade point average.
  4. They are either
    1. Seniors in good standing who will graduate from an accredited Arizona high school and have applied to a post secondary school; or
    2. Students who are already enrolled in their post-secondary studies.
  5. They have demonstrated leadership and academic promise.

The Blavin Scholarship is unique in design and scope.

Qualified students are encouraged to apply.


OUR MISSION

The Blavin Scholarship provides financial support for post secondary education to those who lived, or currently live in foster care. Recipients of this scholarship will receive the funds necessary to achieve their academic dreams.
